We are parents to a lively two year old we lovingly call Mischief. As Christians who thought we were never to have children she was a true blessing from God when she finally arrived in the world. Not only did God create the world but we believe he also created out little miracle. We are now entrusted with her care and development into the wonderful person she is becoming and after dedicating her back to God we hope to 'create' a thoughtful and intelligent girl who is sympathic to others; hence the name of this blog.
We live in the South East of England with our little dog Pippa and love cooking, eating, gardening and exploring nature. We'd love to live near the coast but God has us staying put for this season of our lives.
After looking for pre-schools for Mischief I started looking into homeschooling. After coming across these great blogs, Counting Coconuts and 1+1+1=1, I discovered Tot School. This is what most of us doing with our tots but in a more focussed, planned way. I was in love and immediately started planning. We are in the process of turning the spare room into a play/school room and I'm so excited. Who knew we had so much stuff though?
We have already done a couple of Tot Trays with Mischief and she loved one and wasn't interested in the other. I hope to 'officially' start in the next few weeks once the room is finished and I've planned some activities. This blog is also a new venture for me and I hope to stick with it.
Thanks for reading, Mischief's Mum.
